I have 2 -- ages 12 and 5. I sometimes wish I had a girl, especially when I see all those adorable clothes. It's probably a good thing. We would be in the poorhouse if I did have one

LisaK, it is true girls tend to be expensive. My daughter is only eleven, but she is already going through my stuff. Lip gloss, shoes and jewelry. LOL I guess that's what my mom always meant about payback.

Wow! Four boys - Are they really close? Do they get into lots of trouble? Just wondering. I've got two boys (6 months and 2 1/2 years) and I'd like to have at least one more, so just wondering what it's like to have so many boys in the house!

They tend to be really close when around other kids, and at home, but they do fight at times. The three older boys don't' baby the youngest but they do each spend their own time with him. The oldest is at the age where he likes to be with friends his own age a little more. I love having boys. I love my daughter as well. It is fun to have a girl, but I am glad I only have one. Boys are physically exhausting, girls are more emotionally exhausting.

Yeah, she creams all the time but the boys run around and horse play. I can handle the horse play, it's the screaming I can't deal with. Drama, girl drama LOL

I have identical twin boys. They are 2 1/2.

Wow!! Twin boys and 2 1/2 yrs old. What is that like? I always wished I would've had twins. Well I almost have twins. My two middle boys 13 yrs old and 14 yrs old are eleven months apart. One was born on Jan.2 1993 and the other was born on Dec.28, 1993.
I admire parents of twins. It takes a lot of work and sacrifice, but I imagine is totally worth every minute of it.

I have two boys. 3yrs and 16 months and couldnt be happier! I love my boys' raw energy and fearless curiosity. We want one more baby sometime in the near future and although, of course, we would be thrilled to have a girl, we both are silently hoping for another boy. We feel like we kinda know what we're doin' with boys.

Hi everyone!!I have a 5 year old stunt man on my hands-I grew up with an older sis and no boys around-I am not sure how to deal with the horseplay all the time-but I'm learning as i go!! My husband keeps saying-don't worry, it's normal! My question is...Is it?? Are most of them that rough and rowdy? I mean when we go out he is a very well behaved gentleman-he opens doors for ladies and says yes ma'am and no sir and pleases and thank yous-but when we get home it is on with him and his daddy and the dog-it can be a mad house!! I love him-but man i had no idea they could play so hard and be so inventive with things! Glad I found somewhere to sound off!!
